Not much of a writer. Had some requests for a blog so here it is. I'm within the last 72 hours before my 5 week (37 day) trip across Europe and it doesn't feel real. I figure it will kick in once I'm strapped into my seat and flying through the air over the Atlantic. Although, considering the amount of anti-anxiety medication and sleeping pills I will need to avoid a pre-flight meltdown, I'm not sure how well that's going to work out. The plan is to take off from JFK and land in Duesseldorf, Germany and then from there head to Barcelona for a few days of aventura catalan. I'm excited to revisit so many of the places I loved the first time around and experience Barcelona from an older, more appreciative, less hungover point of view.
